When we first started geocaching, we were wet behind the ears...so we were told. After we had logged over 100 finds, we came across a hide, that we had searched multiple times for, and alas...we found it, but, only to find a log that our names could not be etched upon. We were devasted in our elation, to say the least. But...we pulled our cache straps up, and forged on.
We logged our find, and did the next best thing.
We did the dreaded..."NEEDS MAINTENANCE" log.
At the time this cache was hidden, we had just made a two day run of checking the hides of our large family of geocacher's...under four different user names, for a total of somewhere around 110 hides, spanning many miles and 4 counties. We chose these last two days because the weather was not supposed to be that favorable, and who wants to do chores like this when we would much rather join the hunt??
Inside the cache are several "snack" size baggies. Inside each one are a few nano logs, a few micro logs, and a few that are just a bit bigger. Also, there's a few extra little cache bags, so that you will have one in case you run across a ripped one! If you would like a baggie with some "needs maintenance" help to lend another cacher or two... help yourself!!!!
Also inside is a logbook for you to log your find of this cache, AND a pen!!!! As always, rehide the cache so it stays safe.
