Located in the most westerly position on Skye we could find, over looking the Little Minch. Breathtaking views of the peninsular with its jagged cliffs, waterfalls and the Neist Point Lighthouse.
Terrain is fairly challenging in terms of being steep in places. If it's windy on the island it will be VERY WINDY out here. Some of the ground may be boggy depending on which route you use to reach the cache (proper boots recommended) and rocky. But the views alone are worth it. Promise. A mere 105 metres above sea level but What. A. View! Only a few minutes from the car park so do make the effort. Safe for well looked after children but not suitable for wheelchairs.
A joint cache laid by two romantics on their first holiday to Skye in order to leave a little piece of their hearts in the most amazing location they could find. Treat this special cache in the spirit it was intended, come prepared to appreciate the natural beauty of this unique location (there are some pictures in the gallery, it took our breath away!) and take some of the love contained inside the cache away with you. There's plenty to go around. Feel free to leave any messages of love of your own, we will return to find them. Suitable for small tokens/items to be left in.
There's nothing you can do that can't be done.....
