Geocache Description:

Take a short walk along this hidden path leading from Veteran's Park to West Salem. This trail cannot be accessed from the highway.. Do not park on the highway!

This cache is placed in honor of the good "Doctor" and his wife who are amongst the top cache finders in the state. When I got the container for the cache I thought of them right away, if you are like me when I first started caching I saw that drhaas was at that cache and I kept thinking wow a doctor does this!! Well, not to burst bubbles but nope, no doctorates there but they should have one for geocaching! For this dynamic duo goes everywhere to cache and don't be surpised if you are in the middle of Iowa to see their name. So, seems lately I've been getting teased for placing some hard caches, so to be nice and since I feel guilty I've placed this one on a nice paved trail with a short walk from either end. You can park at Vet's near Fishy Fishy Bite My Hook and walk up or park near Hope Church and make the walk to the location. No need to take your feet off the pavement for this one folks as it is on the pavement side of the railing!
