These Cache & Dashes are nice easy stops to break up a long journey, giving you a chance to look at vistas and find hidden places missed when driving. You do not need to go near the road to get the cache. Remember all normal precautions need to be taken when stopping in a lay-by near a busy road! You are looking for a small container with a logbook, able to take small swaps and trackables. Please bring your own pen to sign the logbook. Heading WEST on the A44 the lay-by is on your RIGHT. Heading EAST the lay-by is on your LEFT as the road summits after a long winding climb uphill. The A44 summits here at nearly 1300ft as it crosses the southern edge of the rock dome called Radnor Forest. From the parking area, you get a south-westerly view across beautiful Welsh countryside to the area of hills above the village of Hundred House.
