Geocache Description:

This cashe is near a CCC dam/spillway built circa 1935. This dam stands as one of the many contributions made by the Civilian Conservation Corp during a difficult time of our country's history. The dam was constructed by CCC camp 3804, and remains as a monument to these young men.

This cashe is located inside Cleburne State Park. Entry fee of $5 per person ages 13 and over, 12 and younger get in free. Texas State Parks Pass holders get into the park as usual. Permit for this cashe is on file with Park Headquarters/Geocache Manager.

While walking to cache be observant for poison ivy/oak,and native wildlife and reptiles.
