COPELAND'S CORNER CACHE. THIS CACHE IS ON THE COPELAND PROPERTY NEAR GRAY'S CHAPEL church and the four way STOP. CAN PARK IN CHURCH PARKING LOT (@ the SW corner by Co.Rd 47)AND WALK TO CACHE. PLEASE MIND THAT IT IS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. PROPERTY OWNER DOES KNOW CACHE IS THERE. PLEASE DO NOT DIG AROUND ON OWNERS PROPERTY.
I was told that...Origianlly that corner where Gray's Chapel Church sits used to be called BRUSH ARBOR. It was just benches, poles and a roof made of cut down shrubs for shade where people used to go and worship on Sundays. Around the turn of the century, a small wooden chapel was built there. I did a lil research and the only info I have found so far states there was a school there called Brush Arbor School. Love to find more history for the Copeland's to go on.
