The cache is in a small container hidden close to the ground, located a short distance from the gate and is not within the bounds of the property. Within the container you will find log book, pencil & sharpener, a few souvenirs, 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th to find cards (redeemable vouchers).
The small farming community of Nungarin gained prominence during WWII when it was selected as the site of a huge military ordnance depot. Thousands of troops were stationed here, and the depot included a huge vehicle park, and facilities to house civil aliens and prisoners of war.
After the war the buildings were sold and the Nungarin Heritage Machinery & Army Museum is housed in the only remaining huge workshop.
