Geocache Description:

Nestled in Boyce-Mayview park you will find a bird garden...and a cache!

The Outdoor Classroom is an educational facility nestled within 475 acres of Boyce Mayview Park just 12 miles south of downtown Pittsburgh. The Outdoor Classroom offers something for everyone, including programs for teachers, students, service groups, government officials, business leaders, and community residents.



This cache was placed by PAGA in conjunction with The Outdoor Classroom to recognize our newly formed alliance and our first collaborative event in October, 2011. It is a short walk from parking and can be found alone or as the start of a great day of caching in the park.
The container was created by thebuddhaman and given to renruts who needed a good place to hide it. They thought this would be the perfect place. It is a small cylindrical tupperware container that has a logbook and some trade items to start. Keep in mind that sometimes things aren't what they seem.



To get to the cache, enter Boyce-Mayview at the Community and Recreation Center entrance on Mayview Road and veer to the left to travel towards the Parking Coordinates. You can then walk towards the classroom and take a right around the trees. At times there might be a slight water hazard to cross, but, regardless of water, you will have to go down a slight incline and up the other side. Please be gentle with the cache and remember to hide it exactly as you found it. We hope you find this to be a fun cache!
