Cache is located right off the driveway in a cemetery. The terrain is flat, but grassy, so a wheelchair might have difficulty.
This should be a fairly straighforward hide.
This cache will bring you to a cemetery and almost directly to the final resting place of my best friend, Jillian Leive Kirkland. Jill was one of the kindest, most generous, and loving people I have ever met, and like so many others, she left this world way too young.
Have a seat on the bench for a few minutes and enjoy the quiet.I spent many afternoons here as a teenager thinking about life and slowing down to be thankful for the time I still had on this Earth.
If you get a chance to look for one of my other caches: J.L.K.- Castle In The Clouds (GC36RTZ) you can see the original artwork from which the dancer and butterfly on Jill's headstone and grave marker came.
Caching is something that Jill would have loved,so have fun and say hello for me:) Be sure to look around and see what I, and other friends, have left here in remembrance of our J.L.K.
Cache is a micro bison tube container with log only, so BYOP.
Please be careful to close container completely to help preserve the log for future finders, and be careful not to damage any landscaping that may be about. The newest container (1-16-2017) is securely attached to its surroundings. There is no need to completely remove it from it's hiding spot. Please open the container only, and do not unfasten it from its spot. Thank You!
Cache is not on or directly around any headstones or monuments. Please be respectful of the area and search only during daylight hours.
There is ample parking within feet of the cache.
Please be sure to place the cache back exactly as you found it in order to help keep it safe.
