Dette er en sommer cache

Voss kommunes nye kulturhus har spenstig arkitektur og er ført opp i røffe materialer.
Resultatet har blitt et bygg som vekker oppsikt. Det man ikke ser utenfra er at bygget også er meget energieffektivt.

Mange funksjoner
Voss kulturhus ligger ved Vangsvatnet nær sentrum. Både bilister og togpasasjerer ser bygget tydelig ved ankomst til Voss. Det er 4.500 kvadratmeter og har kostet 96 millioner kroner eks mva. Tiltakshaver er Voss kommune. Voss kulturhus ble offisielt åpnet 6. januar 2011.
Bygget inneholder bibliotek, kinosenter, storsal, kulturskole, utstillingsareal. Lokaler for voksenopplæring og turistinformasjon. Storsalen er en flerbruksal som skal brukes både til konserter, kinoforestillinger og andre arrangement. Den har 281 seter og avansert digitalt film- og lydanlegg. De to kinosalene har 79 og 92 seter. Øvingsrommene i kulturskolen har doble vegger. Et rom beregnet for rock har tre vegger og er konstruert som rom-i-rom (altså rom-i-rom-i-rom).

Voss cultural center is located at Vang lake near the center. Both motorists and togpasasjerer see the building clearly upon arrival in Voss. It is 4,500 square feet and has cost 96 million excluding VAT. The developer is Voss. Voss cultural center was officially opened on 6 January 2011.
The building contains a library, cinema, hall, arts and exhibition space. Facilities for adult education and visitor information. The great hall is a flerbruksal that will be used for concerts, theater performances and other events. It has 281 seats and advanced digital video and audio. The two cinema halls have 79 and 92 seats. Training rooms in the arts has double walls. A room designed for rock has three walls and is designed as a space in the room (ie room-in-space-in-space).
