This is a series of caches placed in an area I love, because it is where I grew up.
This area is where the Lido once stood. Built in the 1920s along with its palm trees, 18 hole miniature golf course, dance hall, cafe and outdoor seating. Athough a big attraction, after about 10-15 years it was demolished because of the threat of erosion on the cliffs. From this area you can see the 'Round House' which was the show house for buying the art deco properties. Also you can see the wind farm out to sea. and en-route you may have seen the memorial to PC Brian Bishop who died in the line of duty in 1984. BUT my favorite spot is at GZ where I used to sit and make play camps, behind #9, 'up the goat track'!
