My favorite kind, very easy park and grab. The challenge will be not being detected by the muggles who live in the area or who frequent the area for fishing and fowl watching.
This cache will take you to one of my favorite places in my town. I have lived in this area for over 20 years now and have walked or biked by here on average 2 to 3 times a week as part of my fitness regimen. I have seen the place change a lot over the years as it first was all sandy and now it is a plush grassy area.
It is home to gaggles of geese who frequent the area from early Spring to late Fall. Every year the gaggles get larger and larger. I get to witness the baby gosslings each Spring and watch as they mature into full adult geese over the course of the Summer. The many families seem so have a reunion of sorts in the late Summer and gather here in droves as Fall approaches. I think they are making their travel plans for wherever they go in the Winter. I have seen a couple hundred of them gathered at one time or another. In the Summer if you look closely you will also see the resident Crane along the shore as he is a frequent visitor as well.
You might even see me out for my walk or just sitting on a boulder enjoying the view, fresh air and wildlife.
This area is also home to the annual Trout Fishing Derby in the Spring. I hope you enjoy the area, my cache and get to see the resident geese.
