Wandering Heroes - Mookie
This cache immortalises a cute travel bug we picked up at the Mid West Geobash in Ohio, back in July 2011.The owner recognised we were going to be doing some travelling and asked if we would not mind a hitch hiker, he's so cute we could not resist, after talking to the owner for a while, Mookie (Roadside Rickie) was given permission to obtain a passport to leave the USA. He has a visa to stay in Australia until the OZ Mega at Easter 2012, when hopefully there will be a bag that can return him to the USA and continue his travels. Mookie has not yet returned to the USA, he will be with the Flipper's till after the NZ Mega. The cache is in the bush corridor, running next to a bitumen road, between Tailem Bend and Karoonda. We think this cache would be a good swap spot for travel bugs and geocoins.
