This is subtitled "Rua's Paddock".
Rua's Paddock
Rua was farm manager Angus Reesby's much-loved sheep dog who
died in 1992.
Rua was a top huntaway dog who won many open trials and was well
known
throughout the country for his achievements. His progeny are high
achievers
at national dog trials today. His grave is marked with a stone
blessed by
Maori elder, the late Merv Kemp.
Working sheep dogs are invaluable on a farm like this for
rounding and
sorting stock, and as companions and guard dogs.
