Geocache Description:

In January 2011 much of Victoria suffered massive rains and flooding. The Grampians National Park also sustained large amounts of damage through land slips and flooding with many area blocked for many months.

During the height of the closures, up to 80% of the park was closed to the public and there are still many areas that are yet to be opened.

The cache is located at the road crossing of one of the land slides. The road was only recently re-opened in September and a description and picture does not do the devastation justice. A visit is a must to really feel how it must have been.

Hundreds of meters of forest has been clear felled by nature and just swept away by the force of the water, rocks, boulders and trees.

You are looking for an ammo box with small swaps, pen, log and scratchy for FTF.
Park off the road about 50m south of the slide area and GZ.
