Geocache Description:

Very easy to find just off the main road. It is possible for one car to park right next to the cache site but the road can be very busy so children an animals should be kept under tight control.

Located on an old Roman road and and most probably the last road that many a prisoner saw on their way to the gallows at the top of the hill!!!! It is also rumoured that Richard II met his demise at the gallows north of Pontefract castle!
