The Little Prairie Conservation Area is a 342 acre recreational area featuring 100 acre Towell Lake. There's a large picnic area on one side of the lake with picnic tables and bar-b-que pits. The other side of the lake has a boat ramp, fishing dock and a walk out pier. The Little Prairie Conservation Area is perfect for picnics, canoeing, kayaking and fishing with catfish, bass, crappie and an assortment of sunfish available. There's plenty of parking on both sides of the lake as well as restrooms on both sides.
This cache is an ammo can with kid friendly goodies and a logbook. The cache is located on the Picnic Area side of the lake. Large parking area nearby, short walk to the picnic area. A little bit of bushwhacking and searching needed to find this cache, look to the woods behind the picnic area.
