This cache is placed with the permission of Hendricks County Parks & Recreation. Park open dawn to dusk. Please park in the designated lot.
Sodalis Nature Park was opened in 2011 in the Hendricks County Parks & Recreation system. It is part of a conservation area to protect the endangered Indiana bat (Myotis sodalis). You're really going to have a hike from the parking lot: A 2 mile round trip for this cache, and you'll end up in the far Northwest corner of the park. Since going "back, way back, waaaaay back" to get this cache gives such a nice tie-in between baseball and bats, our family of Cubs fans wanted to remind you all it's not to soon to start waiting til next year and that it's just over 170 miles from here to the friendly confines of Wrigley Field!
