Easy to find, but busy traffic on corner. Careful with kids. Hunt during daylight hours so as not to disturb residents.

Watch for traffic on this busy corner and limit to daytime hunts. This was placed with the owner's permission, but people live here too.
Parking may be limited, but is easier on Mondays and late afternoons when the South Store Cafe is closed.
Welcome to an old Scholls landmark. Originally built with proceeds from the Alaska gold rush. Built around 1903 with an Odd Fellows lodge on the second floor. Over the years, it's also been used as a school bus depot, gas station, soda fountain, barber shop, dance hall, deli, and pizzaria. The book "Scholls Ferry Tales" (sometimes available at Petrich's general store) has more details.
The South Store is now the South Store Cafe, a popular local hangout.
