Münster liegt auf der Westflanke eines grossen Schuttfächers und zugleich am Ausgang des Münstiger Tals. Vor allem von Westen her bietet es sich mit seinen dunklen Gebäuden und der weissen Pfarrkirche als imposantes Haufendorf dar. Reich ausgestattete Sakralbauten und grosse stattliche Wohnhäuser prägen noch heute das Dorfbild.
Architektur- und Kulturinteressierte können die Besonderheiten aller Gebäude auf einem Kulturweg erkunden. Auf dem Dorfplatz steht eine rote Info-Säule, welche als Startpunkt für den Kulturweg dient. In einem Fach liegen gratis Broschüren auf. Ebenfalls am Dorfplatz befindet sich die St. Margarethenkapelle, welche 1769 errichtet wurde. Gleich daneben findet man ein seltener, aus Eisen gegossener Hydrant.

Beim 1. Wegpunkt findest Du einen antiken Meilenstein der die Entfernung nach Brig angibt. Eingemeisselte Zahl = AB
Beim 2. Wegpunkt: In welchem Jahr wurde die St. Margarethenkapelle restauriert? Jahreszahl = CDEF
Ebenfalls am 2. Wegpunkt: Auf dem eisernen Hydranten ist neu eine 2-stellige Zahl angebracht - weiss auf rot. Zahl = GH
Kleine Kontrollrechnung: Die Summe aller Buchstaben von A bis H ergibt 33

Wobei: a = E-D+C; b = A+B+H-C; c = E-C+A+B-G-H

Achtung: Im Winter, je nach Höhe der Schneemassen, könnte der Zugang zum cache erschwert sein! Ausserdem ist der Meilenstein WP1 oft hinter einer meterhohen Schneemauer begraben. Alternative: Einige Meter weiter Dorfeinwärts (Richtung Brig) ist wiederum ein antiker Hydrant zu finden. Darauf befindet sich eine fünfstellige Zahl. Die 2te Zahl = A; die letzte minus die vierte Zahl = B.
