Ok, this might be the toughest of the three new hides on the way to “Pirate Overlook”.
I really hate this type of cache and something IS living here so be careful while searching.
8,412ft. elevation
When the cache Pirate Overlook was placed it went unfound for 13 months when I finally made the hike out for the FTF. I placed three new caches on my return trip to try and get more people to make this hike. The views are spectacular and the hike is just over 3 miles out and back but not too difficult. Now there are four caches past the locked gate at Coon Creak Jump-off. Most two wheel drive autos should be able to make the drive to the gate without problems. Log only at this point but room for small items.
