*****This cache was replaced on September 13, 2026 due to reports that the container was missing. I’m trying a different approach this time. I put the cache in a small glass jar hanging from a tree at eye level. See posted photos if you want some help. It is on the SE side of the tree away from view of the nearby trails to hopefully avoid passersby seeing it. If the glass jar goes missing see the new micro hide by Geocyclists on their 2025 post.!****
I placed this cache with Whitney, my eight year old Daughter Lindsay (now 28) and our two dogs Charlie and Addie. It took us under 2 hours out and back moving at a very leisurely pace (stopping for a long lunch). It should be interesting to see the route that people choose to reach this cache. It can be either a moderately difficult climb (3.5-4) or an easy, but longer walk. Original: We included in our cache some Microsoft software, a Joan Collins book, "Kill the Man" VHS tape, sun glasses, a swiss army knife (knockoff), frisbee, new baseball hat, bag of kids surprises, new flashlight, a Robert Parker book on tape and a bar of gold :) Updated cache: It has a hand crank powered radio, a camping stove and lantern, a neck warmer, a snorkel, and a couple of children's books. An interesting note, from this location if you continue south you can access 7 falls from the top.
