EDIT- The scout meeting place has been been knocked down!!! Also, I changed the location (and updated the coordinates) to a less thorny area in the same patch of woods. This cache is now NEW AND IMPROVED!!!
The cache is a very short distance behind Abington Cub Scout Pack 11's meeting place. The dense overgrowth during the summer and the lack of trails makes the terrain a little difficult to navigate. Can be very muddy after rain, etc. Parking lot is full during Little League season, with several muggles in the area. Do you recognize the lyrics in the cache name??? Anyway, this is my first hide and it's a one of my five Wood Badge Ticket requirements. Several months back, we held a Intro to Geoscouting meeting where we placed several caches of candy around the baseball field and had the cub scouts navigate around and find them with a GPS. They loved the idea! Our current cubmaster expanded on the idea and runs a successful "Geocaching with Akela" program with the scouts now!!! Feel free to trade a scouting patch for a patch in the cache!!!
