This cache has been archived.

mixtli: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Geocache Description:

CANCUN
-BEACH-IGUANAS

The beach in Cancun, especially the beach along the hotel zone between
Punta Cancun and Punta Nizuc is one of the most beautiful beaches of the world.
As members of the Royal Resorts my wife and me come to enjoy this
lovely place every year for 2-6 weeks.
Unfortunately, more and more remainings of the original nature surrounding
is being destroyed by building hotels, marinas, etc.
This cache is dedicated to the Iguanas, that have been living here for
thousands of years.

At least, some have still survived near the beach, directly next to the
Royal Islander Resort.
To find the cache, it is necessary, to make an extended walk along the beach,
Get out of your shoes and walk along the ocean in this beautiful sand.

Find out, where and how you have access to the beach, at least one way is
to start from the public beach of El Pueblito right opposite the Ruinas del Rey.
