La cache può essere raggiunta a piedi
partendo dal cimitero di Celle (43°36,966'N 011°24.052'E) seguendo
il sentiero CAI n°23 in mezz'ora circa.
Volendo si può effettuare un anello tra il sentiero sopra citato e
i n°00,7 e 21 e raggiungere anche le altre 2 cache in zona: "Badia
Montescalari" ("GC372KX") e
"Pace, Pace, Pace" ("GC36W88") considerando che tra una
cache e l'altra occorrono circa un'ora, un'ora e mezza di
cammino.
Il mio consiglio è di fare l'anello cominciando da questa
cache.
Del castello di Celle, fino a poco tempo fa, non rimaneva che un
rudere (visitabile) formato dai resti dei muri degli edifici e
delle mura esterne. Il castello era stato eretto su un picco di
roccia con blocchi di roccia calcarea e arenaria e mattoni e
dominava la piccola valle sottostante.
Adesso è in corso di ristrutturazione (o meglio, rifacimento) ma, a
ben guardare, nel bosco rimangono ancora molti resti della cinta
muraria. Il castello si trova a pochi metri dalla antica strada
selciata (oggi sentiero CAI n°23) che collegava l'abitato di Celle
alla Badia di Monstescalari. Di questa strada rimangono molti resti
ben visibili lungo tutto il percorso (che consiglio vivamente di
fare).

The cache can be reached on foot starting
from the cemetery of cells (43°36.966'N 011°24,052'E) along the
path CAI n.23 in half an hour. If you want you can make a link
between the path above and the n°00, n°7 and n°21 and reach the
other 2 caches in the area: "Badia Montescalari" ("GC372KX") e "Pace, Pace, Pace"
("GC36W88"), whereas
between a cache and the other takes about an hour and a half
hours.
My advice is to make the ring starting from this cache.
The castle of Celle, until recently, it remained a ruin formed from
the remains of the walls of the buildings and outer walls. The
castle was built on a peak of rock with blocks of limestone and
sandstone and brick, and dominated the little valley below.
It is now being restructured (or rather, rebuilt) but, on closer
examination, in the woods are still many remains of the outer
walls. The castle is located a few meters from the ancient causeway
(CAI now No. 23) that connected the town of Celle to the Abbey of
Monstescalari. Of this road are many remains visible all the
way.
