Welcome back to Denny Park, oldest park in Seattle Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ferguam: We didn't expect this cache to survive a high traffic park for a year since use leaving Seattle. It had a good run.

We hope someone picks up the baton and places a nice cache here. Our advice: place a tourist friendly cache. The park attracts a lot of out-of-towners, and it would be a shame for the park to be blocked by a crazy-fun but traveler-inaccessible puzzle cache.

Geocache Description:

"A peaceful green island in a sea of traffic, Denny Park lies on the central business district's northern fringe, and is surrounded by major thoroughfares. Broad pathways planted with rhododendrons and azaleas lead to a central circle…thick crowned maples, pines, and other trees shield the grass and its sprawling occupants from city noises until it's time to return to the working world."

So says the City of Seattle official web page for Denny Park. Oldest park in the city. Muggle central. There have been several caches placed in this park over the years but they rarely last long. Still, as Seattle's oldest park, it should have at least one.

We throw our hats into the ring and came up with a straight forward hide.

If muggles are around, use the hint to go undetected. You are looking for a magnetic key holder.

Park closed 11:30PM - 4AM. We recommend not searching at night due to its inhabitants.
