To get to Cold Creek you can go via Ward rd. to 139th and follow the signs to the Larch Mountain Correction Ctr., it's past the camp going that way. Or you can go up the east fork of the Lewis river to Sunset falls road, follow that a few miles to Dole Vally Rd. and again follow the signs to the prison. It is before the correctional ctr. going that way. Follow your G.P.S. it should show you the gate. The gate from the main road to Cold Creek CC. is closed. ,If you go looking in the winter you'll have a good walk from the gate to the stash, in the summer , you can almost drive to it.(I have been told that the gate to this newly rebuilt campground, may never be opened to car traffic?? And if the gate is open, don't expect it to be that way on your way out!! Best to just walk in and avoid being locked in.) Great place to run dogs. The campground doesn't have a sign on the road anymore so youll have to trust your G.P.S. don't take the first gravel rd. you come to it leads back to the main road. Happy hunting
