Old Trails Traditional Cache

In ancient times a trail existed that helped the Indian tribes of the day move along the basalt cliffs near what is now called the West Trails Road. This trail intersected what we now know as Old Trail Road and was one of the primary routes used to access some of the best hunting and fishing areas along the upper portions of the Spokane River.

Those days have melted into history and the old trails have become modern roadways and byways where speeding cars and trucks pass without notice of the ghosts of the past.

When you find this cache you might pause for a moment and reflect on those past times, the Indians and Cavalry that traversed this area and how the times that we know were shaped by the hopes and dreams of those that have gone before us.

You are looking for a small camoed pill bottle resting in a forgotten area of the old trail system.

Take a moment to reflect on the history that has gone before us and listen for the whisper of the wind that may carry faint memories of those bygone days.
