World renowned artist Claes Oldenburg has created his 4th new public artwork for Philadelphia in Lenfest Plaza. This design consists of a 51' illuminated sculpture in the form of a paint brush, raised at a 60 degree angle as if in the act of painting with a 6' paint glob on the ground below. It is best viewed at night. The sculpture is positioned between PAFA's Historic Landmark building and Samuel M.V. Hamilton building on N. Broad. This new civic space offers public outdoor seating and rotating works will be viewed in an urban setting. No signature = No smilie
