Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE ABOVE CO-ORDINATES. A series of puzzles/tasks that will lead you to a small LNL. Nothing animal, vegetable or mineral need be disturbed, cut, or moved to access this cache. All phases should be wheelchair and stroller accessible. As always, bring your own pen, please hide as found, trade equal or up and avoid metal objects which may rust. The usual drill. Lottery ticket for FTF.

A variety of tools will be needed to determine the final co-ordinates. Use whatever works for you, but we used Google Search and Streetview as well as our GPSr. This is an example of reducing a large number to a single digit. With the number 2914 ... 2 + 9 + 1 + 4 = 16, then 1 + 6 = 7. The cache can be found at N 49 52.AEB W 124 33.CDF, where:

A At N 49 52.407, W 124 33.088, how many soldiers' surnames begin with W?

B Reduce to a single digit the time of day Armistice was declared.

C The last digit of the street address of the Canadian National Vimy Memorial in Vimy, France.

D At N 49 52.380 W 124 32.067, reduce to a single digit the date of erection of this monument.

E At N 49 50.511 W 124 31.728, what is the first digit on the brass plaque?

F The number of paths leading to the Vancouver Cenotaph.
