On your way to Postojna Cave you can stop at the town square.
Postojna je edino slovensko mesto, kjer po Titu nosita ime tako ulica kot glavni trg. Številni Postojncani imena Titov trg ne uporabljajo, saj so ga po postavitvi rdecega tlakovanja v devetdesetih letih dolgo klicali Rdeci trg, po prenovi pa ga vecina klice kar Trg pred Krasom po tukaj stojecem hotelu.

Na skulpturi s podobo cloveške ribice (Proteus Anguinus), ki krasi osrednji postojnski trg, po mnenju društva manjkajo tri pomembne letnice. Med dogodki iz zgodovine Postojne, ki so zapisani v casovnem zaporedju, ni niti enega iz obdobja od leta 1941 do leta 1945

Postojna is the only city in Slovenia where a street and a square are still named after a former Yugoslavian leader Josip Broz Tito. since the Titov trg (eng. Tito Square) was paved with red stones rarely any resident of Postojna uses the original square name. Instead of Titov trg they entitle it Rdeci trg (Red Square) or even more commonly Square in front of Kras Hotel.

On the olm (Proteus Anguinus or "human fish") shaped sculpture that is located on the central square of Postojna, there are three important historic dates missing. On the sculpture are engraved almost all important dates, except the dates from the WWII era.
