This cache is dedicated to the memory of our beloved English Springer, Maxwell. This cache is meant to be found and is dedicated to the joy that we find in our pets. The swag in this will be canine related in the beginning, in short dog toys. You are looking for a 50 cal ammo box. Cache is best accessed off of a road trail in BCF followed by a short walk on a marked side trail and a short bushwack. There is FTF prize in cover of ammo box.
Maxwell taught me much about animals. Max was beautiful, intelligent, and loving. Max also had a bit of Jekyll and Hyde in him. We loved him and worked with him like no other dog we ever had. We loved him with all of our hearts and it hurt us when he passed. Max inspired me to volunteer at the local Humane Society and to get involved with animal welfare and rescue groups. The Woofs say: Love, Respect, Rescue and Adopt.
We have started a photo gallery with pictures of the three current woofs: Buddy, Gracie and Logan and also a few pictures of Max himself. Please post pictures of your canine or not so canine pets.
This cache will bring you to a special area that Max loved, the BCF. Max loved walking in the Bangor City Forest. He enjoyed walking in the woods,taking in the sights and smells of the forest, the blowing sticks, the small streams, the puddles of water, the small animals, are all some of the things that he loved about this very unique place. So please enjoy your walk to his cache. And of course 4PAWS UP!! and have a nice belly rub after the walk!!!
