Geocache Description:

Firth Rixson Forgings at Darley Dale was built during the Second World War as a shadow factory to mirror the production capability of the Sheffield forges, which were a target for the Luftwaffe. Today it specialises in the forging of aerospace components for jet engines.

The cache is a small micro or large nano and as such there is no space for loot. Please bring own pen/pencil.

Placed by kind permission of Firth Rixson Director of Operations.
