Geocache Description:

We never got a chance to find the previous cache at this location, we were just starting out when this one disappeared but because we ride bikes on this bridge a lot, we always hoped that it would get replaced.

We saw the chance today to place a cache here so that's what we did.

The bridge is open at all times and depending on the time of day you go, there may be lots of muggles present so try to be sneaky.

This was once a railroad bridge crossing Little Lake Butte Des Morts. Our dad says that people used to fish for body parts from the bridge of people who were hit by trains. Not sure if this is true or a story told to scare us from playing on railroad brides.
The renovation to turn it into a pedestrian trail was completed on August 27, 2005.

The bridge may be snow-covered and icy during the winter and it is NOT recommended that you search for this cache at that time.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Oshkosh office of the Wisconsin DNR.
