Fairly short beach walk should bring you to this generally secluded spot. Screw top container. Ideally try this at low tide but can be done anytime.
Quarantine Bay is a 1 km wide south to southeast-facing bay bordered by Murrumbulga and Quandoa points and containing two beaches. Quarantine Bay beach extends east of the base of the jetty for 150 m, facing south into the eastern sheltered bay area, which is filled with moored boats. The reflective beach is usually calm, sheltered by its location deep with in the bay and the protection afforded by the point and breakwater. There is a large boat ramp and car park occupying 120 m of the jetty-breakwater. It is backed by the old quarantine area now a holiday park. The western shore of the bay is occupied by Legges Beach a 500 m long beach that faces southeast out toward the bay mouth, and curves to the south between the usually open entrance to Shadrachs Creek and the southern 50 m high Quandoa Point. Quarantine Bay has the best boat ramp in the area, in addition to offering fishing off the breakwater. All four beaches are protected with best fishing off the rocks, as well as in Shadracks Creek.
