Geocache Description:

Rectangular rubbermaid container (about 7" by 11" by 4"), white top, clear body. Lots of stuff inside. Well hidden in a gully above a small stream. Requires a short scramble up the sandy side of a gully.

Park on the east side of the playing fields. Once you are close, pay attention to where you are going if you cut cross-county or you may walk off the steep side of a gully.

This is the first cache we've made, and we tried to hide it well. You will know you are in the right spot when you find a small sandy gully with a creek trickling through the bottom. (At least there was water in the creek on Feb. 3 when we hid the cache.) The cache is well above the level of the creek.

Inside are lots of treasures, including crazy-bones, american flag pins, hair bows/barrettes, and some other Whataburger toys. The prize for the first finder is a small brunton compass.

Young geocachers will have no trouble with the trails, although the final approach to the cache is a bit steep & slippery. Little kids (under 4 or 5) may have trouble scrambling the last 10 feet.
