Geocache Description:

The GZ is not next to the old fashioned water hand pump. But it is within sight of it.
The container is a camo "Skoal" tin. I promise that Pump It Up #4 will be harder, but for now, enjoy the easier find.

Congratulations to Pompower for getting up early on a Time Change Sunday and nabbing the FTF!

Having been in a lot of cemeteries while geocaching, I have seen a lot of history. I saw the headstone of a man who fought in the War of 1812. I always see graves of those who fought in WWI, WWII, Korea, and Viet Nam. However, in this cemetery, due east of the GZ, there is the grave of Army Spc Brandon Stout.
I vividly remember a very cold day in February of 2007, standing in front of my house while the streets were lined with people from the community holding small U.S. Flags, the parade this day was not one of joy or celebration. We all watched the miles long procession of cars that followed Brandon to his final resting place in this small, country cemetery. Spc Stout was 23 years old, married, and serving his country in Iraq when on January 22, 2007, he was killed by an IED.
When you come to this little cemetery, take a couple minutes to visit Spc Brandon Stout and say "Thank you" for giving more than most for your freedom.
