TLHOTP Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Set 1956 ft up in the Northern Pennines in a sheltered spot near to great views of High Cup Nick.
TLHOTP
Silly name isn't it?
Saves typing 'The Little House On The Prairie' every time though...
The walk up can be on open, sometimes soggy tracks/paths.
The weather can be atrocious up here, come equipped accordingly.
The cache is near, not in TLHOTP you will know what we mean when you arrive!
The cache is double boxed (Clip Lock) with a log book & pencil. There is a FTF badge for the - er em - First to Find...
If you visit please sign the log rather than leave a calling card - they tend to clutter the box and absorb moisture - the inner box is small - thanks.
Nearest parking is on the road near High Cup House.
Why not grab another while your up here.
High Cup Nick is not that far and can be reached by following the path further on. Be aware though the shortest route to High Cup Nick is down a short, very hairy gully/ rock-shoot close to the GZ.
NOTE: This cache is situated in an SSSI area and is placed with the kind permission of Natural England who over see these areas.
Cachers are also reminded not to disturb any ferns etc. when searching
Enjoy.
