Die Kirche mit Tonnengewölbe, breitem Triumphbogen und niedrigem kleinen Altarraum im Erdgeschoß des Turmes wird 1295 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Die ältesten Malschichten des Innenraums befinden sich im Apsisbereich und am Triumphbogen: Die im frühgotischen Linearstil ausgeführten ausgeführten Arbeiten sind oberrheinischen Meistern zuzuordnen und datieren von ca. 1300/10. Die Fresken an der Tonnenwölbung (Christus als Richter in der Mandorla und die Evangelistensymbole) und an den Seitenwänden des Kirchenschiffs (Maria-Magdalena-Legende; Szenen der Passion Christi) stammen aus der vom Paduaner Maler Guariento beeinflussten Werkstatt des sog. Zweiten Meisters von St. Johann im Dorf und sind zeitlich um 1370/80 anzusetzen. Der hölzerne Altar wurde 1667 von Oswald Krad geschnitzt.
Im Zeitraum zwischen Ostern und Allerheiligen findet einmal die Woche und zwar am Mittwoch von 16:00 - 18:00 Uhr die Kirchenführung statt.

Documentata dal 1295, presenta un'unica navata con abside quadrangolare che costituisce la base del campanile. All'interno i dipinti più antichi, nell'abside e sull'arco trionfale, risalenti al 1300/10 ca. appartengono allo stile gotico-lineare, proveniente dalla Renania.
Gli affreschi della volta (Maiestas Domini) e della navata (Storie della Maddalena e Passione di Cristo) sono opera della bottega del Secondo maerstro di San Giovanni in Villa, influenzato dal pittore padovano Guariento, e risalgono al 1370/80 ca.
L'altare ligneo seicentesco è intagliato da Oswald Krad.
Nel periodo tra Pasqua e Ognissanti è prevista settimanalmente la visita con guida della chiesa e precisamente il Mercoledì dalle ore 16 alle ore 18.

Officially in the records since 1295, the Santa Maddalena church has a single nave and quadrangular apse that acts as base for the belfry.
Within, the more ancient paintings, in the apse and on the triumphal arch, date back to about 1300/10 and are done in the Gothic-linear style of the upper Rhineland.
The frescoes adorning the vault ceiling (Maiestas Domini) and the nave (Life of Mary Magdalene and the Passion of Christ) were done by artists of the studio of the Second Master of San Giovanni in Villa, influenced by the Padua painter Guariento, and date back to about 1370-1380.
The 17th century wooden altar was carved by Oswald Krad.
In the period between Easter and All Saints' Day, every Wednesday will be scheduled a guided tour of the church, precisely from 4pm to 6pm.
