My goal has been to steadily place caches along the Atlanta to Stone Mountain PATH trail, in order to get people out and moving. I was out on a run in Freedom Park and noticed a few sets of stairs that go nowhere! It reminded me a lot of my cache in the Morningside neighborhood called The Cat Steppes of Morningside (GC2WZZ6).
Of course the backstory here is that many homes were condemned and demolished in order to fulfill plans to create a highway in this area. The plan ultimately failed due to opposition but unfortunately the houses never returned. Luckily, a beautiful park now is in place. ***Congratulations to Clayshooter for being the FTF!***
