This cache is designed to support and honor our military, past and present.
This cache is meant to bring the seeker to a special place in Goffstown. The container is located near an area that the town of Goffstown created to honor all of its military veterans from all five services (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard). We located this memorial while participating in the town’s 250th Anniversary scavenger hunt (that team McShea actually won) back in June of 2011. The irony was that we submitted this location as the answer to the clue that stated that it represented “Five signs of military greatness”. Our team picture at this site turned out to be the WRONG answer to that question, but we were so impressed with this area that we STILL liked our answer better then the five street signs in Pinardville named after military generals. While at this site, please pause for a moment and reflect on all of the great things we enjoy in this country and also REMEMBER those who have earned us these blessings. The difficulty rating is set that high due to the nature and location of the container. The terrain is not quite wheelchair accessible. Please be respectful of the area and follow any/all rules.
