A TRIP AROUND OUR TOWN The only Blue Rapids in the U. S. Come take a little trip around Blue Rapids. See the sights. Our call to fame is having a round square. You'll see when you drive it. Visit the museum if open if not look in the windows. New exhibits often. The curators there will be glad to tell you stories. Our library is the oldest continuing library in the state of Kansas. Find out more! Stop in and visit the librarian. Take a look at the jail in the middle of the square. Peek in the windows of a 1870's donated log cabin. Notice the mural on the square. Have lunch, do a little shopping. We have two stone churches built in the 1870's, several old stone houses, two parks, and the Marshall County fairgrounds. Drive around our town to see if you can find them. Check out our Central Branch Railroad . See where a major league baseball game was held. Yes, this little town was the smallest stop on a Major League Baseball world tour. Get all the facts. Be sure and visit the other caches in our town and in the area. Take a trip to Alcove Spring, a stop on the Oregon Trail.
