A great little hike that brings you to a decision point; continue straight or turn right. That is, do you want to go to the Talapus, Ollallie and the Pratt Lake areas or are you headed to Granite Mountain and the Look Out?
Well, at this junction you can sit and ponder that question but the true ground zero is about 75 feet above you.
This entire mountain is absolutely stunning with great views, many well maintained trails and a excellent workout or just a stroll through the woods. And for those reasons, are used very often.
Have fun exploring Granite Mountain, it is truly a gem of our wonderful and beautiful Pacific Northwest.
This cache is well protected and should even be able to be retrieved when the snow level in the surrounding area is measured by feet. Go out and have some fun!!
