The cache is situated in Gillies Grove, a beautiful white pine and hardwood forest in Arnprior.
You might want to park at the west end of Ottawa Street in Arnprior. There you will find a gate into The Grove with a trail map and a good explanation of how this old growth forest was preserved from loggers and developers. A neat story.
The cache itself is a camouflaged short length of PVC pipe with watertight cap.
The cache probably is not accessible if there is a significant amount of snow.
