Geocache Description:

It was July 20th, 1901 (Meiji era) when the railroad service started between Kushiro and Shiranuka, the railroad station yard was established here. Takuboku Ishikawa, who is one of the most famous poet in Japan, sung the station in his Tanka poetry "Getting out of the train On the platform of the farthest station By the light of the snow. I started to walk into the deserted town."

The cache container is a micro magnetic black case. It is very dwarf. There was only a log sheet in the container. So, please bring your pen and tweezers for grasping the log sheet.
