Geocache Description:

** container change 16/7/14. Same Placement. We have now placed a cache which will hopefully go unnoticed by locals. .. Log may be hard to remove as very small. If you cannot remove you can still log it if you send me a picture of the cache** The coordinates are pretty much spot on! Park and Grab... however bring your binoculars as the views of the Estuary from here are lovely.

Thorpe Bay is a located in Essex along the Thames Estuary. This is the area where the Thames River meets the North Sea. The region offers the second largest tidal movement in the world - with water rising 4 metres per hour and moving at a rage of 8 miles per hour. ThorpeBay offers an exposed coastline and an unobstructed expanse of water that is great for sailing. Thorpe Bay has also been recognized for it amazing beaches. It ranks as one of the best beaches in Essex for coastal isolation. This was Sebby's favourite place for walkies :)
