Whether we remember the day as Armistice or Remembrance Day, or the Day of Peace, we should all really take particular note of this day in history.
This cache was placed on 11/11/11 to mark a special date in history. But, as we started to work out why we should place a cache on this day, we realised that just the 11th November was reason enough to place a cache – to remember all of those fallen in all the wars we have endured around the globe. The fact that we have been able to add another “11” to the end of the cache should not matter!
We hope by now that you have already noticed the co-ords that this cache has been placed at – we got as many 11’s in there as possible.
There are a few nearby parking locations - we'll let you choose where you'd like to park, as there are some other caches in the vicinity that you might also like to do whilst you are here.
You are looking for something a little different here & we hope that by the end of the search you will find a good reason to “give a hoot” and that you have time to reflect the timing of the placement of this cache.
