The Rhea-McEntire House is a historic home in Decatur, Alabama. It is located just along the shoreline of the Tennessee River’s Wheeler Lake, adding more charm to the beautiful home. You are looking for a small lock and lock container, not necessary to go on the property to find the cache.

It is said that the Rhea-McEntire House was constructed before 1836, when earliest documents about it were dated. It served various purposes and functions in the past, giving it a good deal of historical significance. One of its early uses was as the first temporary courthouse of Cotaco County during the time when the first permanent county courthouse was being built in Somerville. It also served as headquarters of the Union and Confederate forces at various times during the Civil War. It is also one of the oldest structures in the area, after being spared of burning, since it was used by the Federal forces to plan the Battle of Shiloh in 1862.
