Lest We Forget 2 (Manawatu) Multi-Cache
the Seagnoid: The tree containing this cache fell over due to high winds after a few days of rain and a bit of flooding softened the ground. Given that Lest We Forget the Original's tree was also toppled, and that cache archived and resurrected as this one, it is only fitting that this be archived and resurrected as Lest We Forget 3.

Memorial Park is on Napier Road, the main eastern access to Palmerston North. The Park is well established with trees and is a nice area for families and picnicing.
This cache is a remake of the original Lest We Forget, by Done and Dusted, which was hidden in a tree, the reamaining stump of which is visible from this cache site.
This park was established as a memorial to those who perished in WWII. Drive in for parking and access to a children's swimming pool, play area and to feed the ducks by the pond. Numerous outdoor tables and seating as well as a fixed BBQ are provided for family picnicing. It can be quite busy on a nice summer's day.
The main gate is open from 8.00am to 6.00pm during winter and 8.00am to 9.00pm at other times. It is possible, however, to access the area by foot at any time of the day. The coordinates provided
above are for the drive-in entrance to the park.
The cache itself is at S40º20.ABC E175º37.DEF. A short stroll in the park (10 minutes) will enable you to answer the questions to complete the above coordinates. The waypoint coordinates for the questions are provided below if needed. The checksum for your answers is 34. The cache is a small container, just big enough for a small trackable or two.
