Prenez la Mtee Cure Labelle à partir de la route 117. Chercher un petit pot cylindrique contenant diverses petits objets et un log book . Il y a un gratteux pour le PAT. Une bonne paire de bottes requis s'yl y a de la neige.

Take Mtee Cure Labelle off Trans-Canada Hwy 117. look for a small cylindrical container containing a few small objects and a log book. It also contains a scratch card for the FTF. May get some snow in your boots in winter.

Au début de l’automne 1869, le curé Antoine Labelle organise une exploration avec son guide. Il explore lui-même les cantons de Wolfe et de Salaberry ! Après une halte à Sainte-Agathe, il gravit péniblement les montagnes vers le nord, en compagnie de quelques colons intéressés par ces belles vallées fertiles, sur les rives de la Rouge.Le curé Labelle leur en parle inlassablement, mais avec beaucoup d’enthousiasme ! Au matin de cette nuit passée à la belle étoile, au pied des montagnes de Wolfe, il dit une première messe sur un autel de fortune. Il bénit ce coin de pays dont il a tant rêvé.

At the beginning of autumn, 1869, the priest Antoine Labelle organized an exppedition with his guide. He explored the townships of Wolfe and Salaberry! After stopping in Sainte-Agathe, he climbed not without difficulty the mountains northward, together with some colonists interested in these beautiful fertile valleys, on the banks of Red river. The priest Labelle spoke to them about it indefatigably, but with a lot of enthusiasm! In the morning of this last night under the stars, at foot of the mountains of Wolfe, he said the first mass on an altar of fortune. He blessed this corner of country about which he so much dreamed.
